Ben and Karen Solomon
Ben Solomon is Managing Director of, and Principal Designer at, Nomolos Ltd.
He is internationally and locally qualified, with more than 20 years experience in architectural design, including more than ten years training and designing in South Africa and the United Kingdom. Knowledgeable, skilled and trained in producing quality, well thought-out residential and commercial designs, Ben brings a flair and enthusiasm for the latest in international technology and best practice to each and every project.
Ben is joined by his wife Karen, who is a valuable member of the team. Although Karen’s background is predominantly hospitality, she is well versed in the architectural field.

Originally from South Africa, Ben and Karen came to New Zealand in 2007. In early 2015, the couple welcomed their son Noah into the world, and late in 2016 their daughter Hailie, cementing their love for the Blenheim way of life. Part of their passion for Blenheim is the need for designs which embrace the sunny, relaxed aesthetic of the region – combining lifestyle and sustainability.
A professional member of Architectural Designers New Zealand, Ben is required to hold a recognised professional qualification and to undertake regular professional development. Ben is also a registered Licensed Building Practitioner carrying a Design 2 License.
